United Methodist Women

From its beginning, United Methodist Women has focused on ministry with women, children and youth.   Currently, this mission-focused organization has 800,000 members worldwide.

The United Methodist Women of Christ U.M. Church meet at various times throughout the year at 12:30 p.m. in the church Fellowship Hall.  Included in each gathering is a time of food and fellowship, an interesting program focusing on mission with women, children and youth, a summary of an article from the Response magazine and a brief business meeting.  The scheduled meetings for the remainder of the year are:  September 6 and December 6.  All ladies are invited!

Also, a branch of the United Methodist Women’s unit is Faith Circle.  This evening ladies group meets monthly during the school year and offers a second opportunity to grow in relationship and knowledge of the mission work we are called to embrace.

The Purpose of the United Methodist Women:

“The United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.”
